Throughout the year our teachers, staff, and community groups will offer our students the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs. Our goal is to offer a wide selection of clubs. Our teachers also try their best to balance clubs offered to students in all grades. Some of our clubs can sometime include:

  • Friendship
  • Hockey Heroes
  • Student Advisory Group
  • WordPlay
  • Breakfast Club
  • Generosity Club
  • Diversity Cup (Soccer)
  • Recycling Club
  • Beading Club
  • Coding Club

As the year goes on, other clubs may be offered depending on interest.

Most clubs and programming are selected and offered on a year-to-year basis. If your child has an idea for a club, please encourage them to approach their classroom teacher to discuss.

Patrols

From year-to-year, depending on student interest, Keeler School may be able to offer the opportunity to participate in AMA School Safety Patrol program.

When in action , the patrol team participates in training sessions. See the resources below:

School Safety Patrols, though, are not on duty when it is below -20° C and / or other inclement weather conditions exist (heavy rain, extremely icy roads etc.).  Students are urged to exercise caution when crossing the street on their own.

Patrol Events

There are often events throughout the year to celebrate patrollers' efforts providing safe crossing. Most notably, there is often an Annual Patrol Picnic held at Heritage Park at the end of the school year.
