Inform | Combined Grades 2026-27
We would like to inform families that to most effectively support student learning and ensure equitable class sizes for Keeler students, we expect to have combined grade 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6 classes for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Students in all classes are taught the curriculum of their grade level. The same remains true for combined grade classrooms. Teachers assess students within their classrooms to determine learning needs and plan connected learning activities to benefit all students.
Parents and guardians often have questions when their child is placed in a combined grade classroom at the CBE. Please see the attached Combined Grade Classroomsdocument that outlines how a combined classroom will support your child’s well-being and learning needs.
Transportation Reminder
A reminder to families and students that food is not permitted on school buses. This helps keep the buses clean and ensures a safe and comfortable ride for all students. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Enrollment Intentions Form
As we begin planning for the upcoming school year, we kindly ask you to complete our Enrollment Intentions Form in SchoolEngage. This form lets us know whether your child will be:
- Returning to Keeler School
- Attending another school within the Calgary Board of Education
- Attending a school outside of the Calgary Board of Education
Having accurate enrolment information helps us plan staffing, classroom organization, and resources to best support our students.
Completion of the form is not considered a firm commitment. We recognize plans may not be finalized for the 2026-27 school year and ask you to complete the form based on current information and intentions.
To complete the Enrollment Intentions Form:

2 | click on the SchoolEngage icon
3 | select the Enrollment Intentions form
4 | complete the form
5 | click on Submit to send the form electronically to the school
Please take a few minutes to complete this form by April 20, 2026.
Grade 6 Parent Meeting Reminder
A reminder to families of Grade 6 students that there will be a Parent Meeting on April 22nd, at 5:00pm. Please contact your child's classroom teacher if you require the option to attend this meeting online on Teams.
Please note that it is a requirement that parents/guardians attend if they wish their child to attend camp.
