Classroom Complexity Team | Update
We would like to congratulate Ms. Wiwchar on stepping into the classroom complexity teacher role at Keeler for the remainder of the 2025/26 school year. An update was shared this week with the families of students currently in Ms. Wiwchar’s homeroom.
We would also like to welcome Ms. Linda and Ms. K. who have joined our wonderful team of educational assistants for the remainder of this school year.

Spring Celebration
Mark your calendar! Our Spring Celebration will be on May 21st from 4:00pm-7:00pm. We are excited to be planning activities connected to our whole school social emotional learning program, Courageous Cougars.
There will be more details to follow in the weeks ahead. We would love to see you there!
Welcoming Chantal Chagnon
We are looking forward to Knowledge Keeper Chantal Chagnon joining Keeler students next week to share her knowledge through storytelling, songs, and drumming.

Inform | Grade 4 PIRLS Assessment
Keeler School has been randomly selected to participate in the 2026 Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) that will be administered on May 12th. Participation of schools and students in Alberta is voluntary.
The assessment instruments include reading passages and multiple-choice and open-response questions based on these passages. The assessment also includes a series of questionnaires to be completed by students, their parents/guardians, their teachers, and school principals, respectively. These questionnaires are designed to measure key aspects of students’ home and school environments.
