Jump Rope for Heart 

We are excited to share Keeler has received a generous donation from Jump Rope for Heart! As part of our ongoing commitment to health and fitness, students will be learning skipping. Jump Rope for Heart has also provided some skipping ropes that will be randomly drawn for at the end of the skipping unit.  

Please see the weekly message email in case you are interested in fundraising or learning more about the organization. Please note that this is not required to participate.  Thank you for your support in keeping our students active and healthy! 

Forest Lawn Presentation 

On May 1st, Forest Lawn High School is coming to Keeler for a music performance! All Keeler students will have the opportunity to experience this opportunity – Thank you Forest Lawn! 

Ernest Morrow Transition 

Also on May 1st, staff representatives from Ernest Morrow School are visiting Keeler to support any Grade 6 students transitioning to Ernest Morrow next year. Go Ernest Morrow Mustangs! 

Celebrations of Learning 

May is a month of celebration at Keeler School. Grade 1, 2, and 6 are hosting their Celebrations for their parents/guardians and peers. Dates are as follows: Grade 1 (May 15), Grade 2 (May 7), Grade 6 (May 22).  

Stay tuned for a message from your child’s Grade team teachers regarding specific times for these celebrations! 

Keeler Cougars Basketball – April-May Madness! 

Keeler is welcoming Rundle School and Marlborough School to Keeler on April 30 and May 9 for a series of basketball games for some of our Division 2 students!  

Our Keeler team has been training hard. We have watched our athletes learn together, and in the spirit of Belonging, become a close-knit team working and cheering each other on to be their best. Wish them luck!
