Grade 3 Assembly
A huge thank you to our Grade 3 students and teachers for their sharing assembly last week, and to their families who joined us as we celebrated their learning. We loved the interactive aspects and seeing how proud each student was to share what they have been doing in school.
Our next sharing assembly is on March 6th and will be hosted by our Grade 4 team. More information will be shared with Grade 4 families through Google Classroom soon.
Pink Shirt Day
In response to a new student being bullied for wearing a pink shirt, two Nova Scotia students took a stand against bullying by distributing pink shirts throughout their school to wear. This act of kindness has grown into a symbol against bullying in schools across the globe and has inspired Pink Shirt Day!
On Wednesday, Feb. 26, Keeler students and staff are invited to wear pink shirts to spread this message of inclusion and kindness. We believe everyone has the power to create change and take a stand against bullying.
Labour Action
We have been receiving questions from families around the recent labor action news. CBE is prioritizing in person learning during this time. Updates and information around school operations can be found at the link below:

Parking and Student Safety
A friendly reminder that parents/guardians can NOT drop off students in the parking lot or perform U-turns on both 47th St. and Forego Ave. Please do not block driveways, parking lot entrances, or bussing zones when dropping off or picking up your child at school. We appreciate your attention to these matters and continued support of student safety.
Learn and Share | School Planning
We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. That’s why we’ll be sharing information about school planning and asking you to share your perspectives.
During this engagement, you will have the opportunity to:

- School planning, which includes the school development plan, school budget and school fees
- How the school development plan sets the overall focus and direction for a school to improve student learning outcomes
- How the school budget provides funding to implement our school development plan
- School fees and why they are necessary
2. Participate
- Share your perspectives through this online survey, which is open until March 31st
