Smudge 

A message was shared with families on Wednesday providing some more information on smudge and it’s connected learning intentions prior to Elder Shirley Hill joining us on February 24^th. If you have any questions after reading this letter, please reach out to the school. We are all very excited to be learning from Elder Shirley! 

Clubs 

Clubs are back at Keeler! Starting the week of February 18^th, students will have the opportunity to dedicate one lunch period a week to a club of their choosing. We have options that include (but aren't limited to) drawing, robotics, student advisory council, and basketball. Teachers have been working with students to choose what clubs interest them. Participation in clubs is completely optional, and there will be supervision available for students who would like to opt out and maintain a typical lunchtime schedule. 

Phil Kids 

Phil Kids is planning to resume it’s programming at Keeler starting February 19^th/20^th. If your child participated in the program previously, you should have received an invite from Phil Kids to your previously provided contact information. Any questions, please reach out to the program directly. 

Learn and Share | School Planning 

We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. That’s why we’ll be sharing information about school planning and asking you to share your perspectives. 

During this engagement, you will have the opportunity to: 

1. Learn About 

• School planning, which includes the school development plan, school budget and school fees 
• How the school development plan sets the overall focus and direction for a school to improve student learning outcomes 
• How the school budget provides funding to implement our school development plan 
• School fees and why they are necessary 

2. Participate
