No School on Friday, January 30th
A reminder to families that there will be no school on Friday, January 30th. Non-instructional days, along with any holidays or breaks, are included in our 2025-26 school calendar. You can find this calendar on our school website.
Winter Celebration | January 29th
We are looking forward to seeing many Keeler families at our Winter Celebration this evening!
A reminder that we will have a rented skate shack at the rink between the school and the community center to provide gear for families to try out skating from 4pm to 7pm. If able, families are welcome to bring their own skates and helmets to minimize wait times.
Direct supervision will not be provided, and it is important that parents/guardians attend alongside their children. Siblings and other family members are also welcome.
Gymnastics Starting February 2nd
Keeler students will be starting their Gymnastics unit next week. This unit is part of your child’s regular Physical Education programming. Please help ensure your child is prepared for safe participation by following these guidelines:
- Clothing: Wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing
- Tight-fitting clothing is preferred, so nothing gets caught on equipment.
- Jewelry: We kindly recommend that all jewelry be left at home on gymnastics days.
- Hair: Long hair should be tied back. Please send hair elastics.
- Footwear: Students will participate barefoot. No footed tights, dresses, or skirts, please. Socks with full-sole grip (rubberized dots) are allowed.

Alien Inline at Keeler
Alien Inline will be back at Keeler starting February 23rd. An Acknowledgement of Risk form does need to be signed for students to participate in this activity. Please keep an eye out for these in your child's backpack next week, and plan to return signed copies to the classroom teacher if you would like your child to participate.
This is always an exciting opportunity that many of our students look forward to! Please reach out to the office with any questions.
Traffic Safety Message
An ongoing reminder to families that the area along 47th street is a bussing zone. Please refrain from parking or stopping in this area during pick up and drop off and ensure that you are crossing at the patrolled crosswalk only.
