Report Cards
CBE Term 1 report cards will be available to families online starting February 24th. Report Cards will include indicators (all subjects) and written comments (ELAL and Mathematics).
A MyCBE account allows parents and guardians to access student information; including report cards, assignments and grades, and attendance. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE portal directly instead of using the PowerSchool App.
Young Bhangra Dance Residency – January 26
We are excited to welcome Young Bhangra, a Calgary-based dance school dedicated to teaching and sharing the vibrant art of Bhangra, to Keeler School from January 26-29th.
We are thrilled to be able to offer these dance workshops within each classes scheduled Physical Education time. These workshops are aligned with the physical education curriculum and emphasize teamwork, rhythm, and joy. Please reach out to your child's classroom teacher with any questions.
Kindergarten Registration – January 12, 2026
If you have a child starting Kindergarten next year, registration opens on January 12th. Please note that full-time Kindergarten for 2026-27 has not yet been confirmed, and any updates will be communicated to families as soon as possible. Registration is online through School Engage:

Animals In Schools | Dogs on School Grounds
As a reminder to families, CBE Administrative Regulation AR6004 - Animals in Schools outlines restrictions around the presence of animals on school property. Dogs are not permitted on school grounds. Please ensure that when picking and dropping off students, all dogs remain on leash and off school grounds.
Winter Celebration
A reminder to families that our Winter Celebration is scheduled for January 29th from 4pm to 7pm. Weather and ice permitting, we have rented a skate shack to provide gear for families to try out skating on the rink between the school and the community center.
Alex Dental Bus – Form Reminder
The Alex Dental Bus will be here to provide dental screenings from January 12-14 to students in Grades 2 and 6. If you would like your child to participate, please ensure the permission form is signed and returned to their classroom teacher.
