Sharing Back | School Planning
Thank you to everyone who participated in our school planning engagement. We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together.
The feedback we received is compiled at the links below and will be thoughtfully considered in making decisions about school planning.
Clubs
Clubs are back at Keeler! Starting the week after Spring Break, students will have the opportunity to dedicate one lunch period a week to a club of their choosing. We have options that include (but aren't limited to) drawing, robotics, student advisory council, and basketball.
Teachers have been working with students to choose what clubs interest them.
Participation in clubs is completely optional, and there will be supervision available for students who would like to opt out and maintain a typical lunchtime schedule.
Parent Teacher Conferences
We are excited to connect with families at our in-person Parent/Teacher Conferences on March 19 from 3:30–7:30 p.m. or March 20 from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Each conference is 15 minutes long and provides an opportunity to connect with your child’s classroom teacher to discuss their learning and progress. Appointments can be booked using your PowerSchool account.
If you have any questions or need assistance booking a conference, please contact the school
Fun Fruit Days
Our school has been granted one-time funding to provide additional healthy in-school snacks for students. We are excited to put a portion of this funding towards Fruit Trays for each homeroom classroom on March 30 and 31st.
On these days, we will deliver fresh fruit to classrooms as a healthy afternoon snack for students. Please reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions.
