Parent Teacher Conferences 

We are looking forward to connecting with many of you this evening (March 20^th) and tomorrow morning (March 21^st) about your child's learning. If you have not yet booked a conference, you are welcome to do so through your PowerSchool account. 

A friendly reminder these conferences will be held on Microsoft Teams. Please be aware there are no staff available to let families into the school building after school hours. Your child's teacher will reach out if an online conference requires rescheduling due to emergent circumstances. 

Labour Action Update 

On March 20, 2025 the Calgary Board of Education Board of Trustees ratified the collective agreement with Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 40 following ratification by CUPE members on March 19.  

This new four-year collective agreement expires on Aug. 31, 2028.  

CUPE Local 40 members are an important part of our school community. Members will return to work on Friday, March 21. More information will be communicated as details are known. For the most up to date information, visit https://cbe.ab.ca/news-centre/Labour-Action/Pages/default.aspx.  

Learn and Share | School Planning 

We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. That’s why we’ll be sharing information about school planning and asking you to share your perspectives. 

During this engagement, you will have the opportunity to: 

1. Learn About 

• School planning, which includes the school development plan, school budget and school fees 
• How the school development plan sets the overall focus and direction for a school to improve student learning outcomes 
• How the school budget provides funding to implement our school development plan 
• School fees and why they are necessary 

2. Participate 

• Share your perspectives through this online survey, which is open until March 31^st

Spring Break 

There will be no classes starting tomorrow, Friday March 21^st. We look forward to seeing everyone back at Keeler on Monday, March 31^st after the Spring Break.
