Dr. Gordon Higgins School Transitions
Grade 6 Families – If you have a student transitioning to Dr. Gordon Higgins School for Grade 7 next year, there are two important dates after Spring Break:
April 11: Dr. Gordon Higgins School is coming to visit Grade 6 students at Keeler. And
April 17: Keeler travels to Dr. Gordon Higgins School. Forms coming after Spring Break.
Grade 6 Trip – Camp Chestermere
If your child is in Grade 6, please return forms for the Camp Chestermere trip (April 24-25). If you have questions about this trip, please contact your child’s teacher.
The cost for this trip has been covered together by an Education Matters donation, and the generous support of School Council. As such, there is no cost to families for this trip.
Language and Reading: Tying it Together with the Reading Rope
Parents and Guardians of K-2 students, and other interested parents: A special two-part series; live, is being offered to you!
These online parent sessions presented through MS Teams. Session 1 will target: building language through shared reading experience. Session 2 will target: playing with sounds during everyday activities.
When is it?
Session 1: April 25th/24 (4-5 pm)
Session 2: May 2nd/24 (4-5 pm)

Alien In-line
In-line skating is coming to Keeler for all students from April 8-26.
Please complete and return Acknowledgement of Risk forms so your child can participate.
