Alberta Education and Childcare Assurance Survey | Deadline Extended to March 13 

The deadline for the Alberta Education and Childcare Assurance Survey has been extended to Friday, March 13.   

Parents and Guardians of Grade 4 students are welcome and encouraged to share their thoughts through participating in this survey. You can access this survey through the link and random-access code sent in a previous email. 

Parent Teacher Conferences 

Families are invited to attend in-person Parent/Teacher Conferences on March 19 from 3:30–7:30 p.m. or March 20 from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 

Each conference is 15 minutes long and provides an opportunity to connect with your child’s classroom teacher to discuss their learning and progress. Appointment booking will open on March 12 and can be done through your PowerSchool account.

Keeler Logo Update 

Over the coming weeks, our school will be updating the Keeler School logo so that it more clearly reflects the identity, values, and spirit of our school community. 

As part of this process, we would love to hear from our students. Teachers will lead discussions in their classrooms, and we also invite you to have a conversation with your child about what they think best represents Keeler School. This could include words, ideas, symbols, or things that make our school special. 

Student input will help guide our thinking as we move forward with the logo update. Thank you for helping us include student voice in this process!  

Operation Warm 

We have been provided with many new coats and indoor shoes thanks to Operation Warm! Operation Warm is a national nonprofit that manufactures brand-new, high-quality coats and shoes for children in need. 

We know the weather has been changing quickly and appreciate your support in ensuring students come to school dressed for any changing temperatures. 

If your children require a new coat or pair of indoor shoes (free of charge) moving into this new season, please reach out to the school office.
