Grade 1 Field Trip 

Our Grade 1 classes returned from the Leighton Art Centre this week full of ideas and inspiration. The students enjoyed exploring nature, discovering the museum, and participating in a hands-on art project. Thank you to our parent volunteers and the Grade 1 teachers for all their planning and hard work! 

Cookie Dough Collection Deadline 

The last day for cookie dough collection is Monday, May 5^th. Thank you to all our families who participated in this fundraiser! The money earned through cookie dough sales goes directly to the school council and is distributed to support Keeler students. Classroom field trips, residencies and school events would not be possible without your support and participation. 

2025-26 Transportation Registration Opens in May 

A reminder to our families who will require transportation service for the 2025-26 school year that registration opens in late May. Families can register through their MyCBE account. This is a yearly requirement, and registration does not roll over from the current school year. More information will be shared with families when it is available. 

Quest Theatre 

Quest Theatre begins their residency at Keeler next week! We are so excited for each classroom to engage in the creative process of theatre-making through imagination, improvisation, storyboarding, rehearsal, and performance.  

Our first week (May 5^th- 9^th) will involve Grades 3-6 classrooms and ends in a final performance on Friday, May 9^th at 10:30am. Our second week (May 12^th – 15^th) will involve Grades K-2 classrooms. Their performance is on Thursday, May 15^th at 1:30pm. Families are encouraged to join us for these presentations.
