Inform | Keeler Construction

We are excited to inform you that there will be modernizations to the outside of the Keeler School building over the summer. Please be aware that this means portions of the school will be actively under construction for the duration of the summer.

This project will take place over the course of a few school years, as needed. No work is scheduled to occur when there are students in the school building. We are excited to see the updated Keeler School exterior!

Reminder | Cell Phone Policy

A reminder to families that students' should not have cell phones (or any smart device, including smart watches) at school. This policy is in accordance with the Government of Alberta’s Ministerial Order: Standards of Use for Personal Mobile Devices and Social Media in Schools. As a school, we provide any technology required for learning to our students.

We kindly ask that families remain aware of this policy when picking and dropping off students and aim to keep their own personal devices away or silent when waiting for their children.

2026-27 Transportation Registration Opens Soon

A reminder to our families who will require transportation service for the 2026-27 school year that registration opens in late May. Families will need to register through their MyCBE account.

This is a yearly requirement, and registration does not roll over from the current school year. More information will be shared with families when it is available.

Calgary Cavalry Soccer Residency

We had an exciting week in Physical Education class learning soccer from the Calgary Cavalry as part of the CMSA Soccer in Schools program. This included a visit to each of our classrooms from the Sarge, the Calgary Cavalry mascot. Students were very excited to welcome Sarge into our school!

Volunteer Tea

We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and care our volunteers give to our school community.  To show our appreciation, we would like to invite any family members who have volunteered to support Keeler school to please join us for our Volunteer Tea on May 28th.

We have planned a special morning after our kindergarten assembly to celebrate and thank you for all that you do. Please RSVP to Rachel Scotland at rascotland@cbe.ab.ca if you are planning to attend.

We look forward to seeing you there!

 Have a wonderful weekend,
