Spring Celebration Success! 

Thank you to everyone who is part of the Keeler School Community! Yesterday’s Spring Celebration event was joyful and full of building connections to each other and to Keeler School.  

 

Volunteer Tea – June 14 (10:00-10:45)

Spirit Days 

Keeler Spirit Days are back! Thank you to the Student Advisory Council for designing this year’s ideas. Please note that taking part in Spirit Days are completely optional, and that there is no requirement to take part in the wearing costumes or otherwise.  

Please ensure any costumes or clothing on Spirit Days only includes items that can worn, and not those that needed to be held (ie. No props please). Spirit Days are as follows: 

  • June 10 – Culture Day! Students are encouraged to showcase their cultural wear. 
  • June 18 – Rainbow Day! Students are encouraged to wear their favourite colours. 
  • June 25 – Summer Fun Day! Wear your favourite hats and clothing to enjoy in the Summer Fun.  


Welcome Rachel Scotland! 

Please join me in welcoming Rachel Scotland to Keeler School as the new Assistant Principal, beginning June 10th. Rachel brings a wealth of experience working across the CBE, and is excited to join the Keeler community!  

 

Lost and Found 

Please be sure to check the Lost and Found for any missing items, as any unclaimed items will be donated on June 21. 

 

Nation’s Vision 

Nation’s Vision is coming next week from June 3-7th.  

They will provide students who have returned a consent form with an eye exam. Additionally, if they determine the student requires eyeglasses, they will contact parents, and students will be provided with a new pair of glasses.

Kindergarten Field Trip  

Kindergarten is going on a full day field trip to Sandy Beach on June 12th and 13th. They are looking for any volunteers who have their police clearance. If you are able to volunteer, please contact Jen in the office.
